Hello and welcome to my very first blog, an intro about myself and how I discovered my passion for Photography.
I was born and bred in the Bay of Plenty but moved South in 2019 and I haven’t looked back. Thanks to the 2020 lockdown and border closure, I began to explore the South Island of New Zealand instead of Europe. I was lucky enough to visit a number of our hotspots, without tourists, and immediately fell in love with the scenery.
I have always been interested in Photography, but it wasn’t until I saw the spectacular South Island landscape, that I knew I wanted to do more of it. Much, much more.
I was a farm kid growing up, and as a family we did a lot of bush walks and tramps and this set the scene for my love of nature, and the beautiful bush, water, and wild dramatic scenery New Zealand has to offer.
Life moved away from the countryside and into cities, and overseas, but after a life in banking, admin, then back to semi-rural life orcharding, I’ve embarked on a mid-life change of career.
